Paul Dragos, Dean of the School of Flight Training at Unmanned Vehicle University

Paul Dragos, attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications. In 1984, was accepted in to the United States Navy’s “Aviation Officer Candidate” Program and commissioned as an Ensign later that year.
Throughout his distinguished career, Paul has amassed over 2,500 flight hours in a variety of military aircraft, including Jets and helicopters. In the process of doing so, he has earned several decorations, including the Navy Achievement Medal, the Armed-Forces Expeditionary Medal, the National Defense Medal, and several Service Ribbons.
After leaving the Military, Paul continued his civilian career in the telecommunications and aviation industries. He has a Private Pilot’s License with a commercial rating and is active in the Unmanned Aerial Drone industry.

Joel Carroll, Regional Sales Manager - Atlona

Joel Carroll is the Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Atlona. He has 17 years of experience providing technical training, system design and sales support to the audio video industry. Prior to coming to Atlona, Joel worked for an A/V systems integrator specializing in system design and installation for corporate and higher education markets. From there Joel went on to Extron Electronics and worked eight years as a member of their award winning Training Department. During this time Joel helped to create and deliver training for company and industry events and provided integrators with product training and support. Joel is InfoComm CTS certified and a member of the InfoComm University Adjunct Faculty.

Steve Seable - System Design Engineer – Yamaha Professional Audio

Steve has more than 20 years of experience in working with digital audio networks. After a ten year run with Disney working primarily with CobraNet, he joined Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems and has added many new digital audio network protocols to his toolbox. Over the past 5 years, Steve has assisted consultants with integrating Yamaha's network‐enabled products into all sizes of projects. Some notable installations Steve has had the pleasure of working on include: Carnegie Hall, BYU Idaho Conference Center, and the Hollywood Bowl.

Joe Rimstidt - System Design Engineer – Yamaha Professional Audio

Joe has been with Yamaha commercial Audio systems since 2005. Before that, he worked with Nexo USA and two previous professional audio manufacturers. Joe has a degree in electrical engineering and has worked in professional audio since 1992. Most of his expertise is related to speaker systems and amplifiers, providing product application and design support for customers but he is becoming increasingly dangerous with consoles, DSP products, and audio networks. Joe’s current responsibilities at Yamaha include support to consultants and coordination of AFC projects.
